Training entitlements for people with disabilities

Like all employees, employees with disabilities can benefit from training activities funded by employers and industry bodies.

  • The professional transition project: it allows employees wishing to change career to fund certified training courses linked to their project. It is a specific way of using the personal training account. Beneficiaries of the obligation to employ disabled workers (OETH) can access it without any seniority requirement.
  • Training entitlements of €800/year instead of €500
A person aged at least 16 who has been admitted to sheltered employment services (ESAT) and has signed a support and employment contract benefits from a Personal Training Account.
From the 2019 allocation onwards, the annual CPF credit is increased to €800 per year for full-time or part-time admission (instead of €500), up to a total ceiling of €8,000.

Specific actions and vocational rehabilitation

Employees with disabilities may also undertake specific training activities on the decision of the Rights and Autonomy Commissions for People with Disabilities (CDAPH). Beforehand, they can define their career or training project at a pre-orientation centre (CPO) or undertake a skills assessment.

The vocational rehabilitation contract: employees with disabilities can benefit from a vocational rehabilitation contract with their employer or from training at vocational rehabilitation centres (CRP), which serve as both medico-social establishments and training organisations adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.

Jobseekers with disabilities

Like all jobseekers, jobseekers with disabilities have access to the full range of training activities available to jobseekers. They may receive remuneration if they follow a course approved by the State or the Region.
