The founding
Linguaphone is founded in London with a revolutionary idea for its time: teaching languages through listening and practice, not just grammar.
1925
Audio method
Linguaphone democratises language learning with its vinyl record courses, becoming a worldwide reference in homes.
1980
French roots
The group establishes itself in France with its first centres in the Paris and Alsace regions, dedicated to professional training.
2010
Digital shift
The group rolls out its blended-learning platform, blending the agility of digital with the precision of one-to-one support from a native trainer.

Today

Our job is not to teach a language, it is to make your teams operational in that language.
President of Linguaphone since 2005, Sana Ronda has grown the group into one of France's leading language-training providers. A former manager at Bain & Company (strategy consulting) and Ernst & Young (audit and advisory), she brings her dual consulting and operational rigour to every team she supports.
