Seven funding solutions

€500

CPF — Personal Training Account

The CPF is an individual right: every employee accrues €500 per year (capped at €5,000) usable for a certifying training course. Since the decree of 26 February 2026, CPF funding for language training is capped at €1,500 with a mandatory personal contribution of €150 (except for jobseekers and employer co-funding). To be eligible, our courses always include a recognised certification: TOEIC, Linguaskill, CLOE, Le Robert for English; Goethe for German; DELE for Spanish; TEF, DELF for French; and others depending on the language. Registration is done via MonCompteFormation with FranceConnect+ authentication. Linguaphone guides you through every step: certification choice, quote, application process.

For

: employees, self-employed, jobseekers

OPCO — Skills Operators

OPCOs are the bodies that collect training contributions from companies and redistribute them as funding. Linguaphone is registered with the main OPCOs and a partner of several collective programmes: AKTO (labour-intensive services), Atlas (insurance, consulting), M-Campus (metallurgy), OCAPIAT (agriculture, food), OPCOmmerce (retail), FIF-PL (liberal professions). Your company submits a funding application to its OPCO as part of the skills development plan: Linguaphone quote, programme, training agreement. Our team supports you with the administrative setup.

For

: companies, for their employees

Skills development plan

The skills development plan brings together all training actions decided by the employer for their employees. Language training is often integrated: individual skill-building, group pathway for a team, preparation for an international assignment. Linguaphone builds with you a scheme tailored to your business objectives and measurable via our management dashboard. You can co-fund with a CPF top-up to optimise the investment.

For

: companies and their employees

Individual Training Grant (AIF)

Looking to develop your skills and validate them with a certification? Linguaphone has designed tailored programmes that can be funded through the CPF, with France Travail top-up where needed.

For: jobseekers.

€2,100

AGEFICE

AGEFICE is the training fund dedicated to non-salaried directors of commerce, industry and services (merchants, craftspeople, non-salaried business owners). The annual funding cap is €2,100 per director, usable for a certifying language training. Linguaphone supports you with the application and the choice of a pathway tailored to your activity.

For

: non-salaried directors of commerce, industry and services

70%

FNE-Formation scheme

Linguaphone offers language programmes eligible for FNE funding, open to all private-sector employees. The company contracts directly with its OPCO.

  • FNE-Formation covers ecological, digital and agricultural/food transitions as well as challenges linked to major international events.
  • Co-funding rates: 70% for small businesses, 60% for medium-sized businesses, 50% for others.
  • The remaining cost is covered by the employer, who may seek conventional OPCO funding.
  • Courses must not exceed 12 months.

Examples of eligible programmes: Welcome to France (English for receiving foreign visitors, levels A2/B1/B2) and Customer Experience (English for sales and customer relations, levels A2/B1/B2).

FAQ

Your questions, our answers

Which funding scheme should I choose for my language training?
It depends on your situation. If you're an employee and want to be autonomous: use your CPF. If your company decides to train you: it goes through its OPCO or its skills development plan. If you're a non-salaried director: AGEFICE is dedicated to your status. If you're a jobseeker: CPF and France Travail's AIF (Individual Training Grant) can be combined. Your Linguaphone advisor will point you to the most advantageous option for your project.
Can multiple funding streams be combined on the same course?
Yes, combining is possible and often recommended to maximise coverage. Common examples: CPF + employer top-up (the company supplements your CPF budget), CPF + OPCO, or skills plan + FNE for companies in transformation. For jobseekers, CPF + France Travail AIF remains the most common setup. Linguaphone handles the administrative applications with you and ensures compliance: quote, programme, agreement, certificates.
How much does a Linguaphone language course cost?
The cost depends on your goal, format (one-to-one, group, blended), duration and number of skills covered. Our courses start from €800 for short pathways and scale based on your needs. On average, a Level Up 30h one-to-one pathway fits within the €1,500 CPF envelope and ends with a recognised certification. Request your personalised quote: our team replies within 48 working hours.
Is Linguaphone Qualiopi-certified?
Yes, Linguaphone is Qualiopi-certified for training actions. Qualiopi certification is the quality guarantee required for any training to be fundable via CPF, OPCO, FNE-Formation or any other public scheme. Linguaphone is also listed on the DATADOCK database and has been a recognised training provider since 1901: 124 years of expertise in professional language training.
