The Personal Training Account (CPF)
Salaried directors have the same training rights as their employees. Their CPF is credited at €500 per year (up to a maximum of €5,000), for rights acquired from 2019 onwards for full-time work. Self-employed workers, sole directors of EURL or SASU, artist-authors, performing arts professionals, members of umbrella companies or cooperative employment companies (CAE) can also benefit from the CPF, subject to having contributed to professional training funding (CFP). Check your CPF balance at moncompteformation.gouv.fr.
FIFPL for liberal professions
The Inter-professional Training Fund for Liberal Professions (FIFPL) targets self-employed workers in sole proprietorships or majority managers (TNS), excluding doctors. To be eligible, you must be registered with URSSAF as a self-employed worker, not be registered in the Trades Directory, and fall under a NAF code linked to FIFPL. The budget allocated to language training varies by professional sector.
AGEFICE for non-salaried directors
AGEFICE funds training for non-salaried directors in commerce, industry and services, as well as for their collaborating or associate spouses. This fund is financed by the Professional Training Contribution collected via URSSAF or the Self-Employed Social Security. The budget available for language training can reach €2,450 net of tax per year.
