In Lucca, Centro Koinè is located in the centre of this beautiful Tuscan town, via dei Tabacchi, between Piazza Napoleone and Piazza San Michele, two of the town's most popular squares. 30 minutes from Pisa, Lucca is a walled town with many historic monuments, mainly churches, as well as villas and palaces. The wide tree-lined streets along the 16th-century ramparts are popular for walking and cycling. Casa di Puccini, the birthplace of the great opera composer, is now a house museum.

The villa is 200 metres from the ancient Theatre of Taormina, the town's natural treasure due to its architecture miraculously preserved since the 2nd century.
