CPF Funding in 2026
The decree of 26 February 2026 introduces a cap on CPF entitlement usage. Professional language training is now funded up to a maximum of €1,500.
Each employee accrues €500 in entitlements per year (full-time), with an account ceiling of €5,000. A mandatory personal contribution of €150 applies to each course.
OPCOs (Skills Operators) can supplement CPF funding through your company’s skills development plan.
Employer grant via EDEF
Through the EDEF platform, employers can provide a voluntary grant to cover their employees’ personal contribution and facilitate access to training.
