Linguaphone is accredited to deliver the CLOE certification, for the assessment of professional language skills.

CLOE Certification: validate your language skills

The CLOE certification allows you to have your level recognised in foreign languages: English, German, Spanish, French as a Foreign Language (FLE), Italian or Portuguese. It covers all levels, from A1 to C2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Recognised in professional contexts

Through a comprehensive written and oral assessment, this certification reflects your ability to communicate fluently in work situations or everyday life. It provides clear results, useful for employers or recruiters to reliably assess language skills.

What you will be able to demonstrate

In writing:

  • Understand simple or complex texts
  • Use vocabulary appropriate to each context
  • Construct correct and varied sentences

Speaking:

  • Express yourself fluently and comprehensibly
  • Use appropriate professional vocabulary
  • Interact clearly in different situations

Certified training available at Linguaphone

Our distance or in-person pathways effectively prepare you for the certification. All these courses include the CLOE certification exam.

Training available in English, German, Spanish, FLE, Italian and Portuguese.

For any CPF-funded training, sitting the certification is mandatory. More information on the CLOE website.

A test eligible for the CPF and most funding schemes

The CLOE certification is eligible for the main funding schemes: CPF, OPCO, France Travail, etc. Whatever your status, this certification qualifies for full or partial funding of your training costs.
