What is the DCL?
The DCL certifies your language skills in a professional, personal and social context. It is open to all adults, regardless of their level or status (employee, jobseeker, individual).

How does the exam work?
The exam offers an immersive test in 5 stages:
- Reading comprehension
- Listening comprehension
- Spoken expression
- Spoken interaction
- Written expression
Duration varies between 1h30 and 2h30 depending on the language and level.
Results and diploma
Results are available online approximately one month after the exam. The official diploma is issued by the Ministry of National Education and remains valid for life.
