English 360: certify your professional English skills
English 360 is a certification that assesses your English level in a professional context. It covers the five major language skills: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression, spoken expression and situational interaction.
Designed for work contexts, the English 360 Certificate is based on the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). It validates your skills at the end of training, particularly in the following areas:
- Participating in a meeting, exchanging during a call or professional conversation.
- Writing documents: emails, reports, summaries, etc.
- Understanding spoken discussion in a professional context.
- Reading and understanding work documents.

How the test works
The English 360 test is computer-based and runs online, on a workstation with headset and microphone, in about 2 hours. It assesses the five CEFR competencies in an integrated way:
- Reading comprehension: analysing professional documents (emails, reports, industry articles).
- Listening comprehension: authentic audio (meetings, presentations, phone calls).
- Written expression: drafting emails, minutes or briefing notes.
- Oral expression: guided speaking tasks on professional situations.
- Interaction: simulated workplace exchange.
Scores are released within a few working days, with a per-skill breakdown and a CEFR level for each competency. The certification is valid for 2 years, in line with market standards for keeping the level representative of real-world ability.
Preparation guidance
Depending on your starting level and your goal, count on 30 to 60 hours of one-to-one training with a native trainer, plus self-paced work on our Linguaphone Connect platform. Before you start, we run a free placement test (written and oral) to calibrate the pathway on your real workplace situations (meetings, presentations, negotiation, professional writing).
To help you prepare, we provide on request the official English 360 Welcome Kit (question formats, sample tasks, scoring grid). Our CPF programmes are remote by default (video + platform), with in-person delivery available at our Paris Bourse, Mulhouse and Dijon centres.
