Q: Who can go on an Erasmus+ training course?

In school education, public or state-contracted private: teachers, school leaders and administrative staff. Staff of local education authorities, such as rectorats, can also take part.

Q: Who applies for the funding?

An organisation, not the individual teacher: your institution, or the Erasmus+ consortium it belongs to, submits the project to the French national agency (Agence Erasmus+ France). On our side, we provide the quote you need.

Q: Does Erasmus+ cover all costs?

The funding application is submitted by your institution or consortium. Erasmus+ then funds training, the stay and travel through fixed amounts: an amount per day of classes, an amount per day of stay depending on the destination country, and a travel amount based on distance. These amounts do not depend on your actual expenses.

Q: How long does the course last?

Our Erasmus+ courses are on-site classes, from 5 days.

Q: Will I be in class with teenagers?

No. The partner schools we offer for Erasmus+ welcome adults only.

Q: Does Linguaphone arrange travel?

No, Linguaphone does not arrange transport. It is one of the costs Erasmus+ funds, under the application submitted by your institution or consortium.

Q: Which documents does Linguaphone provide?

All the documents you will need: quotes, invoices, certificates and attendance sheets.

FUNDING

What Erasmus+ funds

Once your institution or consortium has obtained funding, Erasmus+ pays fixed amounts, calculated per participant:

course fees, per day of training
the stay, per day, depending on the destination country
travel, depending on distance (not arranged by Linguaphone)

The application is always submitted by your institution or consortium, never by the teacher alone. The amounts are set by the Erasmus+ Programme Guide.
